This year in after one of our Hurricanes there was a Single Flamingo displaced at the Local State Park. Honeymoon Island State Park is known for is gorgeous beaches, white sand and nature preservation, it is here where this dear flamingo found "herself". Although she has now moved on, "Honey" the Flamingo, will forever hold a part of our hearts. This series is based off of my friend and neighbor, Mikell Herrick's photos of sweet Honey.
The Largest Canvas Painting is of Honey in 3 different positions - these are all from Mikell's Photos. I find it amazing how Flamingos are able to maneuver their necks in such strange angles.
