Dunedin is known for all the beautiful oranges painted around the city. These paintings appear in all sorts of places from on the front of resident's homes to decorating the entrance of the most popular eateries. The history and beginnings of how this tradition started are quite fun and can be discovered at the Dunedin History museum.
After moving to Dunedin over 9 years ago, I also was fascinated with the oranges and decided to create my own with watercolor and acrylics. This Orange print is one of my favorites - celebrating this special place I call home with the added detail of our "Dunedin coordinates "
